Promotional Terms
General rules applying to every promotion, tournament, prize draw and loyalty programme of jogodobicho: who may take part, what the regulation allows us to offer, how the wagering requirement works, deadlines, limits, abuse, and the warnings that every promotional item must carry.
Some company details have not been provided yet and appear as “to be provided”. None were assumed: a made-up tax ID would be worse than a missing one.
1. Purpose, scope and supplementary nature
This document brings together the general rules applying to every promotion, tournament, prize draw, campaign, loyalty programme and other offer published by jogodobicho, a brand operated by [to be provided], registered under CNPJ [to be provided], with registered office at [to be provided], holder of authorisation [to be provided] granted by the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting of the Brazilian Ministry of Finance (SPA/MF) and operator of the domain jogodobicho.com.
Every promotion has its own rules, published on jogodobicho.com before participation opens and readable by anyone, whether registered or not. Those specific rules state, as a minimum, who may take part, what has to be done, what benefit is offered, what the deadline is and what limits apply. No promotion takes effect before its rules are published.
These Promotional Terms are supplementary: they apply to whatever the specific rules of a given promotion do not address. Where a point in these Terms conflicts with a point in the specific rules, the specific rules prevail — unless the specific rule is less favourable to the bettor than the law, the SPA/MF regulation or the Consumer Protection Code, in which case the statutory rule prevails and the conflicting clause is disregarded.
These Terms form part of the Terms of Use of jogodobicho.com and are to be read together with the Responsible Gaming Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Know Your Customer Policy and the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Policy, all published at the same address.

2. Regulatory limits: what may and may not be offered
Fixed-odds betting is authorised and supervised by the SPA/MF, and not every promotional mechanic that is common in other markets is permitted in Brazil. Before anything is advertised, jogodobicho checks whether the structure of the promotion is compatible with the regulation in force. A promotion that fails that check is simply not offered.
In particular, Brazilian regulation prohibits granting an advance benefit to the bettor as an inducement to bet, prohibits the operator from granting credit, advances or loans for betting, and requires every prize to follow a published mathematical rule — which rules out so-called mystery awards, whose conditions for winning are not known beforehand. Every promotion run by jogodobicho respects those limits.
Accordingly, promotions run by jogodobicho take forms that are compatible with those prohibitions, such as tournaments with published ranking criteria, prize draws with published rules and odds of winning, recognition programmes based on account tenure, and informational or free-to-enter campaigns. The sections that follow set out the general rules that apply whenever a promotion involves promotional funds, a wagering requirement or conversion limits.
If a later SPA/MF rule, a decision by a competent authority or a change in legislation prohibits or restricts a promotion that is already running, that promotion is discontinued immediately, subject to rights already acquired as set out in section 13.
- We do not offer an advance benefit, an upfront bonus or any benefit conditional on placing bets, where the regulation applicable to the market of the bettor prohibits it.
- We do not grant credit, loans, advances or any form of financing for betting.
- We do not offer prizes whose winning conditions are not published and verifiable — every prize follows a published mathematical rule.
- We do not make participation in a promotion conditional on waiving any right of the bettor, including the right to withdraw their own funds.
- We do not offer promotions that depend on a game, a bet type or a feature that has not been certified by a body recognised by the SPA/MF.

3. Definitions
The terms below carry, in these Terms and in the specific rules of each promotion, the meaning defined here. Where specific rules use a different term, they must define it with the same clarity.
- Promotion: any offer, tournament, prize draw, campaign, loyalty programme or benefit published by jogodobicho with its own rules and a fixed period.
- Specific rules: the document governing a particular promotion, published on jogodobicho.com before participation opens, carrying a version number and an effective date.

- Promotional funds: a restricted-use amount credited under a promotion, which is not withdrawable until converted into real funds as set out in the specific rules.
- Wagering requirement (rollover): the total volume of eligible bets that must be placed before promotional funds and the winnings arising from them can be converted into real funds.
- Eligible bet: a bet placed with money at stake, settled, made within the promotion period, on a game listed in the specific rules and meeting the minimum requirements set out there.

4. Specific rules of each promotion: prior publication and minimum content
Specific rules are published before participation opens, in Portuguese, in plain language, with the same prominence as the item advertising the promotion, and without requiring registration in order to be read. There is no material condition that is not written in them: what is not published is not enforceable against the bettor.
Every promotional item — web page, banner, email, message, video, audio or social media post — takes the bettor to the specific rules by a direct and identifiable route.
Each version of the specific rules is given a version number and an effective date, remains available throughout the promotion and is retained for the applicable retention period, so that it is always possible to show which text was in force when each participant opted in. The version accepted by the bettor is recorded in their account.
- Identification of jogodobicho, of [to be provided], of CNPJ [to be provided] and of authorisation [to be provided].
- Participation period, with start and end date and time, in Brasilia time.
- Who may take part and who is excluded.
- What has to be done in order to take part and how opting in works.
- The benefit offered, expressed as an amount or as an objective criterion for calculating it.
- The wagering requirement, where there is one, with the calculation base and the multiplier.
- The contribution table by game or game category, where there is a wagering requirement.
- Applicable limits: maximum stake per bet while the requirement is outstanding, and conversion cap, where these exist.
- The deadline for meeting the requirement and what happens when that deadline passes.
- The support channel for questions and complaints about the promotion.

5. Eligibility: registered and verified account, age and self-exclusion
Taking part in a promotion that has economic value requires a registered, verified and active account on jogodobicho.com. The requirements below are cumulative and are checked both when opting in and again at conversion or payment; failing any one of them at either moment prevents participation or conversion.
The demonstration mode of jogodobicho is currently accessible without registration. In that mode there is no money at stake, nothing of value at risk and no economic value: the credits shown are fictitious, they do not constitute bets, they generate no prize, they cannot be withdrawn and they confer no right to take part in any promotion. Betting with money at stake, depositing, withdrawing and taking part in a promotion with economic value always require a registered, verified and active account, without exception.
Participation through the account of another person is not permitted, nor is the use of a payment method held in a name other than that of the bettor. Each person may hold one account only, linked to their CPF.
- Be 18 years of age or older, with date of birth confirmed through the identity verification process.
- Hold a single account, with complete registration and verified identity, including CPF confirmation and facial verification with liveness detection.
- Not be under self-exclusion, whether temporary or permanent, and have no block or cooling-off period in force.
- Not hold an account that is suspended, closed, dormant or under investigation for irregularities.
- Not have reached a deposit, stake, loss or time limit that prevents the intended transaction.
- Not fall within a category of persons legally barred from betting, including anyone able to influence the outcome of the event being bet on.
- Not be a director, employee, service provider or close relative of a person connected to [to be provided], unless the specific rules expressly allow it.
- Use a payment method permitted by the regulation and held under the same CPF as the account.

6. Opting in, activation and refusal
Taking part in a promotion is always voluntary and requires an express choice by the bettor. No promotion is activated automatically, and refusing a promotion does not restrict normal use of the account or access to any game.
Where a promotion requires prior activation, the order of steps matters: activation must take place before the deposit or the bet that gives rise to the benefit, as stated in the specific rules. A promotion is not applied retroactively to transactions made before opting in, unless the specific rules expressly provide for it.
The bettor may refuse a promotion before opting in and may withdraw from it after opting in, at any time, through the channels named in the specific rules or through customer support. Withdrawing removes the promotional funds and any winnings not yet converted, and does not affect real funds.
Under no circumstances does refusing, withdrawing from or failing to complete a promotion prevent the bettor from withdrawing their real funds. Money belonging to the bettor is never held back because of a promotion.

7. Wagering requirement (rollover): how it is calculated, with an example
Where a promotion credits promotional funds, it will normally require a certain volume of bets to be placed before those funds and the winnings arising from them can be converted into real funds and withdrawn. That volume is the wagering requirement, also known as rollover.
The requirement is always expressed as a multiplier applied to a calculation base, and the specific rules state what that base is: the promotional funds alone, the deposit alone, or the sum of both. What counts towards the requirement is the amount staked, not the outcome of the bet: winning or losing does not change the progress.
Worked example. Take a deposit of R$ 100.00, promotional funds of R$ 100.00 and a requirement of 5 times the sum of deposit and promotional funds:
Progress towards the requirement is visible in the account of the bettor in real time, showing the amount already completed and the amount remaining. Bets that are voided, cancelled or refunded do not count and are deducted from progress if they had already been counted.
- Calculation base: R$ 100.00 deposit + R$ 100.00 promotional funds = R$ 200.00.
- Total requirement: 5 × R$ 200.00 = R$ 1,000.00 in eligible bets.
- Staking R$ 200.00 on a game that contributes 100% advances progress by R$ 200.00, leaving R$ 800.00.
- Staking R$ 200.00 on a game that contributes 20% advances progress by only R$ 40.00, leaving R$ 960.00.
- Staking R$ 50.00 on a game that does not contribute advances nothing, and the same R$ 1,000.00 remains outstanding.
- Once R$ 1,000.00 in eligible bets has been completed within the deadline, conversion happens automatically, with no need to request it.

8. Bets that contribute and bets that do not
The contribution table by game or game category appears in the specific rules of each promotion. Different games may contribute at different percentages, and a game may not contribute at all, provided this is published before opting in.
The contribution table may be changed for the future only, and with notice; a change does not apply retroactively to bets already placed or to progress already accumulated.
Unless the specific rules provide otherwise, the following criteria apply:
- Contributes — a bet with money at stake, already settled, placed within the promotion period.
- Contributes — a bet on a game listed as eligible in the specific rules, at the percentage stated there.
- Contributes — a bet meeting the minimum odds or the equivalent requirement set out in the specific rules.
- Contributes — a bet placed with eligible funds, following the order of use of funds in section 9.
- Contributes — a bet whose stake respects the maximum stake limit applying while the requirement is outstanding.
- Does not contribute — a bet that is voided, cancelled, refunded, null, or whose event did not take place.
- Does not contribute — bets that hedge one another, covering all or nearly all possible outcomes of the same event, on the same account or in combination with other accounts.
- Does not contribute — a bet settled early through a cash-out feature, where the specific rules so provide.
- Does not contribute — a bet below the minimum odds or on a market that is expressly excluded.
- Does not contribute — a bet placed outside the promotion period or after the requirement deadline has passed.
- Does not contribute — a bet placed using automation, bots, scripts or any tool that replaces human decision-making.
- Does not contribute — a bet placed in demonstration mode, which involves no money at stake and no economic value.

9. Order of use of funds, stake limit and conversion cap
Unless the specific rules expressly and clearly provide otherwise, real funds are used before promotional funds. The account shows, separately and at all times, how much of the balance is real and how much is promotional, along with progress towards the wagering requirement.
The bettor may withdraw real funds at any time, and a withdrawal is never blocked, delayed or made conditional because a promotion is outstanding. What an early withdrawal does cause is the loss of promotional funds not yet converted and of the winnings arising from them, with no effect whatsoever on real funds, which are paid in full.
While a wagering requirement is outstanding, the specific rules may set a maximum stake per bet, so that the requirement cannot be cleared through a handful of disproportionately large bets. By way of example, a promotion may set that limit at R$ 25.00 per bet until the requirement has been met.
The specific rules may set a conversion cap. Example: with promotional funds of R$ 100.00 and a cap of 5 times, the maximum convertible amount is R$ 500.00; if winnings generated with the promotional funds reach R$ 800.00, then R$ 500.00 is converted into real funds and the excess is not converted. A cap applies only if it was published in the specific rules before opting in.
Promotional funds themselves are never withdrawable before conversion, and the face value of a promotional benefit does not constitute a prize until it is converted.
- Real funds belonging to the bettor are never held back because of a promotion.
- The maximum stake per bet, where one exists, applies only while the requirement is outstanding.
- The conversion cap, where one exists, applies to winnings from promotional funds and never to real funds.
- Exceeding the maximum stake per bet does not cause automatic forfeiture: the excess bet simply stops contributing towards the requirement, and the bettor is notified.

10. Validity period and expiry
Every promotion runs for a fixed period. The specific rules state the participation period and, where there is a wagering requirement, the deadline for meeting it, counted from the moment stated in those rules — generally the crediting of the promotional funds to the account.
If the deadline passes without the requirement having been met, the promotional funds and any winnings not yet converted are automatically removed from the account. Real funds are never affected by that removal.
The bettor is notified before expiry, through at least one of the channels they have authorised, at least twenty-four hours in advance, and the time remaining is visible in the account while the promotion is active.
If the account is suspended because of an investigation opened by jogodobicho, the deadline is paused for the duration of the investigation and resumes for the remaining time if the investigation closes without any measure against the bettor. Periods of significant technical unavailability of the platform are likewise deducted from the deadline.
- The participation period and the deadline for meeting the requirement are two different things, and both appear in the specific rules.
- Expiry affects promotional funds and unconverted winnings only.
- Expiry is automatic, requires no further notice and gives rise to no charge of any kind.
- An account that remains dormant follows the regime set out in the regulation and in the Terms of Use, independently of any promotion.

11. One entry per person, household, device or IP address
Unless the specific rules expressly provide otherwise, each promotion allows one entry per person. That limit is assessed not only by CPF but also by other elements that identify repeated participation.
A shared address, device or connection is not on its own evidence of wrongdoing: people who live together, family members, colleagues and users of shared networks may legitimately bet from the same connection. In such cases each entry is assessed individually and the bettor is heard before any measure is taken, as set out in section 12.
The data used for that check is processed for fraud prevention and to comply with regulatory obligations, as set out in the Privacy Policy and with the safeguards of the General Data Protection Law. Access logs are retained for the statutory period.
- One entry per CPF.
- One entry per betting account.
- One entry per residential address given at registration.
- One entry per payment method.
- One entry per device.
- One entry per IP address or shared connection.

12. Promotion abuse: conduct, investigation and consequences
Abuse means taking part in a way that seeks to obtain, by circumventing the rules, a benefit the promotion never set out to grant. Making a mistake, losing, or winning a great deal is not abuse; abuse is the conduct described in this section.
Where such conduct is identified, the consequences are graduated according to seriousness and repetition, and may consist of removing the promotional funds and the winnings arising from them, excluding the bettor from future promotions, suspending the account and, in serious cases, closing it, with notification to the competent authorities where there are indications of an offence.
There is one line that is never crossed: real funds belonging to the bettor and amounts they have deposited are not withheld. Where an account is closed, those amounts are returned through the same payment method they came from, held under the same CPF, save where a court order, a determination by a competent authority or a hold required by anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing legislation applies.
Every measure is preceded by a reasoned notice to the bettor describing the matter under investigation and allowing ten calendar days to respond. The decision is reasoned and communicated in writing. Where a decision has been taken solely by automated means, the bettor may request review by a human being, and that request is granted. In every case, a complaint may be brought to the Ombudsman at [to be provided].
- Holding or operating more than one account, whether their own or belonging to another person, in order to enter more than once.
- Providing false registration information, using documents belonging to another person or defeating identity verification.
- Acting in coordination with other bettors to cover opposing outcomes of the same event and capture the value of the promotion without real risk.
- Placing bets whose only purpose is to clear the requirement with risk artificially eliminated.
- Exploiting an obvious system, odds or publication error instead of reporting it.
- Using bots, scripts, emulators or any automation that replaces human decision-making.
- Using a payment method belonging to another person or raising an unwarranted chargeback on a deposit.
- Circumventing a self-exclusion, a prudential limit or a block by opening a new account.
- Assigning, selling or transferring the entry, the promotional funds or the right to the benefit to another person.

13. Amending, suspending and cancelling promotions, and the limits of that right
jogodobicho may amend, suspend or end a promotion. That right, however, is not unlimited: it exists so that the offer can be managed and problems corrected, not so that something a bettor has already earned can be taken away.
Immediate cancellation without prior notice is permitted only on the determination of a competent authority, on a change in the rules that makes the promotion impermissible, on a technical or security failure that compromises its integrity, or where there are indications of widespread fraud. Once the cause has ceased, the position of each good-faith participant is restored.
An obvious publication error — such as clearly incorrect odds or an amount published with a material error — may be corrected. In that case the affected bets are voided and the amounts staked are returned in full to real funds: the cost of the error is not passed on to the bettor, and the correction is communicated clearly.
- Amendments have no retroactive effect.
- Anyone who has already met the requirement keeps the right to conversion in full.
- Anyone with an entry in progress completes it under the rules in force on the date they opted in, unless the new rule is more favourable to them.
- Notice of amendment or termination is given with reasonable advance warning and through the same channels used to advertise the promotion.
- Suspending a promotion does not pause the deadline for those who have already opted in, which keeps running, unless the suspension prevents them from completing it.
- No amendment may reduce a benefit already credited or impose a requirement that did not exist on the date of opting in.
- No amendment affects the right to withdraw real funds.

14. Promotional advertising: protected audiences and prohibitions
Promotional communication by jogodobicho complies with the SPA/MF regulation on advertising and with the Consumer Protection Code. Advertising is directed exclusively at people aged 18 and over and may not mislead as to the nature, cost, risk or chances of winning of a bet.
Two groups are specifically protected: children and adolescents, who may be neither the audience nor the hook of any promotional item; and people under self-exclusion, on a break or who have requested a block, who are removed from all promotional communication for as long as the measure is in force, without having to ask again.
The prohibitions below apply to every item, in every medium, including those published by third parties, affiliates, influencers and partners engaged by jogodobicho, who are bound by the same rules through their contracts.
- Do not direct promotional items at people under 18, or place them in spaces, programming or platforms aimed at children and adolescents.
- Do not use childlike characters, cartoons, language, music or styling that appeal to children and adolescents.
- Do not send promotional communication to anyone under self-exclusion, on a break, with a blocked account or who has opted out.
- Do not present betting as a source of income, as an investment, or as a way to clear debts or resolve financial difficulty.
- Do not suggest that betting brings social, professional or romantic success, or personal recognition.
- Do not claim certain winnings, guaranteed returns or risk-free betting, and do not describe as free a benefit that carries conditions.
- Do not omit, downplay or make hard to read the conditions of the promotion, particularly the wagering requirement.
- Do not exploit belief in infallible systems, superstition, personal luck or an ability to predict random outcomes.
- Do not portray betting as an indispensable everyday activity, or mock those who do not bet.
- Do not use images of people in vulnerable situations or testimonials that present dependency as something positive.
- Do not offer promotions to bettors who have reached a prudential limit or who show indicators of problem gambling risk.
- Do not publish items that fail to identify jogodobicho, [to be provided] and authorisation [to be provided], or that do not lead to the full rules.

15. Mandatory warnings on every promotional item
Every promotional item published by jogodobicho carries the warnings below. They are not decorative small print: they are part of the mandatory information and must be legible under normal reading conditions, with sufficient contrast, a size proportionate to the rest of the item and enough display time to be read in full. In audio or video items they are also read aloud where the regulation so requires.
An item that does not carry the warnings is not published. If, through a failure, one is published, it is taken down as soon as it is identified, and the same is required of affiliates and partners.
The warnings sit alongside the identification of the operator and the route to the full rules, so that anyone seeing the advertisement can tell, in the same place, who is offering it, what is being offered and on what conditions.
- Prohibited for people under 18.
- Betting can be addictive. Play responsibly.
- Betting carries a risk of financial loss and is not a form of investment.
- This promotion is subject to rules: read the full conditions before taking part.
- Identification of jogodobicho, of [to be provided], of CNPJ [to be provided] and of SPA/MF authorisation [to be provided].
- The address of the authorised domain jogodobicho.com, with no redirection to an unauthorised site.

16. Taxation, payments, support and effect of these Terms
Prizes are subject to taxation under Brazilian federal law, and withholding, where due, is applied at source at the moment of payment, with notice to the bettor. Unconverted promotional funds are not a prize and therefore give rise to no tax event until they are converted.
Deposits, conversions and withdrawals use the payment methods permitted by the regulation, always through an account held under the same CPF as the bettor. Methods prohibited by the regulation are not accepted, nor are payments to third parties.
Questions, requests and complaints about promotions are received by customer support at [to be provided] and through the free channels listed on jogodobicho.com, available in Portuguese. Anything not resolved by customer support may be escalated to the Ombudsman at [to be provided], who replies with reasons. Data protection matters are directed to the data protection officer at [to be provided].
The bettor may also turn to the public consumer protection bodies and to the SPA/MF itself, without having to exhaust the internal channels first.
These Terms are at version 1.0, in force since 5 August 2026. Changes of substance produce a new version, with advance notice through the usual channels; the version accepted by each bettor is recorded in their account together with the date of acceptance.
Brazilian law applies. Disputes may be brought before the courts of the domicile of the bettor, without prejudice to administrative and consensual means of dispute resolution.
