Group 5 is the Dog (Cachorro). It is made up of dezenas 17–20: every milhar ending in those dezenas belongs to the Dog.
In jogo do bicho the group comes from the dezena (the last two digits of the milhar): group = dezena ÷ 4, rounded up; dezena 00 is group 25. That is why the Dog gathers dezenas 17–20.
